Life Lessons From Biblical Wives: Eve Part 2

As a continuation from yesterday's post we will be looking at being a suitable wife for our husbands.  Let's just take a quick look back at the verse from yesterday.

Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him."

Dictionary.com defines suitable as such as to suit; appropriate; fitting; becoming.  To think that God chose me for Brian because I was the most appropriate, fitting and becoming choice for him!  Our personalities were perfect for each other.  My weaknesses are his strengths and his weaknesses are my strengths.  I was the one he needed and vice versa.

God knew what our husbands needed.  He knew that it was not good for them to be alone, so He made us for them.  And He did not just make anyone for them, He made a helper suitable for them.  He hand created each of us for the man He knew needed us and that we needed also.  We are one of a kind and our relationship is one of a kind.  We have incredible jobs, to help our husbands reach their God given goals, dreams, and purposes and to walk beside them the whole way.

What are some ways that God made you to be the helper suitable for your spouse?
