It kinda looks like nandinia berries, but also a little like a lilac that hasn't opened fully yet - but then the leaves look shiny? Sorry, I'm no help at all :-) I love Lobelia! Isn't it just the most vivid color of blue you've every seen? Blue is my favorite flower color. I've got some Lobelia planted under my dogwood tree this year.
