I Am Thankful...

I am thankful.... for my salvation.

I am thankful.... for a husband who loves me, who is cute as anything, stands with me as a team in raising our daughter, and works "so hard so Mommy can stay home with Addie, and buy presents, and food, and apple juice." (Addie has taken my little phrase of "Daddy goes to work so Mommy can stay home with Addie" in her own direction.)

I am thankful.... for a little girl with a big personality, who makes me laugh constantly, who gives me an excuse to watch Veggie Tales videos. Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go, and Max and Ruby, who loves learning, who likes having her back scratched, who gets excited to put magnets on her chore chart, and who has had a cold for a week and just as much energy as when she is in 100% health.

I am thankful.... for a full night of sleep after getting up every night for a week while Addie was sick.  Although I don't mind waking up for her (really, what mother does?), getting to sleep straight through the night is unbelievably invigorating.

I am thankful.... for stores like Publix, Walgreens, Winn-Dixie, and the product manufacturers who offer coupons to be stacked with store deals. Our pantry, fridge, and freezer are filled to overflowing with good things to eat.

I am thankful.... for cold, sweater and jacket wearing weather without snow.  Definitely one of the perks of living in Florida.

I am thankful.... for God's constant provisions and that He does not operate according to the economy of our world.

I am thankful.... family and dear friends (so many more than I ever imagined having) who are each unique in their own ways, who each bring a different quality with them , and who each bring out the best in me.

I am thankful.... for the life that God has allowed me to live, the choices I have made, the lessons I have learned, and the future He is going to give us.
I am thankful.... for so many things.

We all need to remember what we are thankful for because if not, you lose track of what is really important in life! Thanks, Suzette!
