Kids

As we were driving to lunch on Sunday, Brian and I were talking about how quickly kids become friends. There are no inhibitions, walls, or gaurds put up. There was lots of hand holding, encouragement, and laughing. From the moment Chuck and Kathy arrived at our home, the four older kids became instant friends and were inseparable the entire time (Ian was just passed around among the four adults).

It was surreal at some moments  looking at the kids playing with each other and realizing that their mothers were teenagers together.

And somehow, those four kids all teamed up on my Brian and he ended up at the bottom of a stockpile.

It makes one wonder why adults can't get along as easily as kids can.
