The Confident Woman | A Giveaway

As promised, we are having our very first giveaway!

I was contacted back in Aug/Sept. by someone affiliated with Joyce Meyer ministries.  They had seen some of the posts from our Book Club Thursday: The Confident Woman series and wondered if I would be interested in reviewing Joyce's new book The Confident Woman Devotional: 365 Daily Inspirations.

I had already been using Joyce's devotional Hearing From God Each Morning, so I gladly switched over to this new devotional temporarily.  I loved it! 

It follows the same format as Hearing From God Each Morning.  There is a scripture passage at the top of the page, Joyce expounds on the passage, and then there is a prayer at the bottom of the page relating to the lesson learned in the reading.  The only difference is that the topics in The Confident Woman Devotional deal more with gaining confidence through Christ and becoming confident in our daily walk with the Lord and in life.
