The Broken Ones

On Sunday, a dear friend sang this song in church, and it instantly became one of my favorite songs. You see, we have all been broken at one time or another by others whether intentionally or unintentionally. We can all relate to the doll in the first verse, the girl in the second verse, or the one who reaches out to the broken ones, sees the diamond in the rough, and is willing to put in the time and effort to help heal the brokeen ones. Isn't it wonderful that we serve a loving Lord who especially loves the broken ones and died to make us whole? When we see someone who has been broken, may we not look at them with judgement but with the heart of the One who saved us when we were broken, and may we be His hands to them to bring healing into their lives.
