Our Anniversary "Stay"cation

This has been a wonderful combination of two weeks for us. Last week, Brian worked 2 days, had the 4th off, worked one more day, and then took Friday thru Tuesday off to spend with us as a family and to celebrate our 8th anniversary.

We began our time with a trip to Orlando's Sea World.

Saturday we ran a few errands in the morning and then stayed home to recooperate from the blistering, exhausting heat of the day before.

Sunday, we went to church and then to my father's house for dinner.

We rethought our plans to go to Busch Gardens on Monday, and opted to go the the library instead. The kids put faces on the bears that the ladies of a local group made. Ian got one just for being so cute.

Tuesday was a wonderful day. Aunt Faye took the kids for us, and Brian and I went our for a few hours. The kids loved being with Aunt Faye (she comes up with some pretty creative fun things to do..... like having Addie wear her bathing suit and going "swimming" in her garden tub).

In the meantime, we went to a movie and then a nice lunch/dinner.

We really missed Brian when he went back to work on Wednesday. We had a wonderful time as a family for five uninterrupted days. Now we are looking forward to the weekend and having Brian back with us all day.
